.DE.A Institute is a privately owned group, founded in 1978 by Franco Mantegazza, operating in the field of Car and Industrial Product Design from its six centers in the town of Moncalieri on the outskirts of Turin. Around 300 highly specialized technicians and designers carry out a sequence of diverse though perfectly integrated functions: from concept engineering to styling, from product and process development to the construction of prototypes, to assisting clients with production start-up. I.DE.A Institute is an agile, flexible company providing its ISO9001 certified services to car-makers worldwide, as well as to manufactures of an infinite variety of industrial products, from domestic appliances to furniture, from architecture to motorbike. It has designed such vehicles as the Fiat Tipo, Lancia k, Nissan Terrano II off-road, Daihatsu Move, the Fiat Palio World Car family of models and most recently the first indigenous car for India, the Tata Indica - to name but a few numerous automotive projects I.DE.A Institute has worked on in the past twenty years.

The idea of institute birdhouse project all started from a very first consideration which was there is no better home for birds than the beautiful blue sky. We then thought up a system of communication that would carry the message all over the world. We wanted one very simple,child-like,almost playful vehicle to carry the message. So we thought up the the idea of the balloon which would carry the project designed by all of our design team to children who would find them,build their own birdhouses and send on a new message to some one else in the world. We presented here some of the models which in one way or another,have been designed very environmentally friendly with use of recycled material. We tried to show children they too with their own creativity and intuition can build their own birdhouses without being designers. We'd like to convey a very strong message that the would's natural cycles can not be interrupted,by taking care of environment and making sure that the recycle and to loop is not interrupted. Eachof us can play his own part in protecting the very vital,precious environment that is all around us. The models of Various kinds---. Some of the very simple,children can make their own then (send) off their own balloon with the drawing of the project.
