Endless Cube
The 'Endless Cube' mimics our earth as a materially-closed but energetically and informatically open system. It has the same life cycle to survive and continue like our Earth- through the energy of our Sun and knowledge of humanity.
The 'Endless Cube' reflects the macro-scale image of our Earth, which can be associated with the spherical shape of our planet. It inhabits the four elements of universe; earth, fire, air and water. They were defined as different substances due to variations in the proportions and how they aggregated by the force of love and hate.
A cube is a very solid shape; six two-dimensional squares came together to form a three-dimensional block. To define the complexity of asymmetrical fundamental domains on Earth, the smallest entity of one cube has been symmetrically arranged to develop cubes in bigger scales; leading to the final cubic form. The strong symmetrical form has been mixed with fractal green elements, which do continue growth from the day they were implanted leading to the final observation that symmetry relies upon asymmetry.
Endless Cube uses these elements to create different views from any perspective the observer chooses, which mimics our real environment. The design gives the freedom of growth in any environment into any direction depending on existing energy and information in the selected area. It naturally creates dark and light, cold or hot, wet or dry environments; and spaces in different size and volumes. The cube and its entities change with the energy and information available on-site. It becomes a part of cosmos.
Endless cube is actually; a living organism.
It needs care and much attention to survive until the next exhibition.
If you don't take care of the cube, it will die... Just like our Earth!
